Job Description

The Stock Room Supervisor is responsible for insuring that Stockroom personnel are provided daily assignments for shipping and receiving and assure that delivery goals are met in a timely manner according to ITI’s processes and procedures.

  1. Plan, schedule and provide personnel the necessary items; pick lists, receiving information available and necessary to effectively and efficiently complete the tasks assigned. Assure that stock room operations are conducted in accordance with ITI’s QCI and SPI Procedures to meet our on-time-delivery goal
  2. Validate Stockroom performance and evaluate problem areas, review as necessary with the manufacturing manager to meet the company’s objectives.
  3. Maintain and update inventory transactions, in ERP to assure that the Stockroom records accurately reflect the inventory of raw material and finished goods.
  4. Perform “cycle counts” with effective status reporting where necessary.
  5. Run Customer Order requirements daily by due date and prepare for shipment along with accompanying documentation. Check the shortage supply report and backlog list and print pick list for any order that have parts that can be shipped. Prepare shipping documents and any special documents required for foreign shipments including arranging for pick-up as required.
  6. Manage receiving, and inspection certifications, approvals including electronic documentation storage control. Maintain all JOB processes and documentation to insure completeness and filing.
  7. Insure all outgoing shipments meet customer requirements including certification requirements.
  8. Although not inclusive;
    • Validate incoming material certifications to requirements.
    • Create material certifications.
    • Scan all certifications into appropriate files.
    • Complete penball retain packages.
    • Maintain all quality job files to be current.
    • Customer specific certifications.
    • Generate monthly identified reports for managementValidate material certifications to requirements, create material certifications, scan all certifications into appropriate files, complete penball retain packages. 
  9. Maintain all quality job files to be current.
  10. Complete customer specific certifications.
  11. Work with the Sr. Accountant in completing the yearly inventory physical.  Responsible in assisting with all error/product discrepancies.
  12. Oversees Import/Export compliance.

Associates degree, preferably in Material Controls / Stock Room management with 2 - 5 years of experience in a Production environment with materials control, and or quality control, and or 2-3 years relevant experience in an ISO organization with a proven track record of using ERP driven process controls for materials management.

Job Requirements
